Hey everyone, welcome back to another edition of the East Bay Market Minute, the fastest 60 seconds in real estate. We are in May now, and a lot of buyers are out in the market looking for a home to purchase. The one problem we have had with buyers lately is that there has been a lack of inventory as of late. In the last few weeks, however, that problem has lessened, and more homes have come on the market.
This didn't completely get rid of the bidding wars and multiple offer situations we have been seeing, but in the coming months we should see a more balanced market. Usually by June and July, the market floods with inventory, giving buyers a ton more options.
If you haven't quite found what you are looking for yet, don't be discouraged. We can help you find what you are looking for with the flood in inventory we are expecting soon. When searching for a home, it's important to stick to your plan, make sure you know what you want and when you want to move, and work backwards from there. The first step is getting pre-approved, so you can look at all the homes in your price range.
