Your Child Can Win a Gift Certificate in the Bollinger Canyon Writing Contest

Hi Bollinger Canyon parents - for those who don’t know me, my name is Scott Fuller and I am a parent of two children at Bollinger Canyon Elementary and a local real estate broker.

I have partnered with Principal Shawn Wells in creating and sponsoring the 1st annual end-of-year writing contest for grades K-4. The theme for the contest is "Who Inspires You?".

The goal is to recap the students' experience in opinion and persuasive writing, and also to answer questions such as: What makes that person special? Why are they admirable? What have they taught you?

A winner from each grade level will be selected by the school and will receive a gift certificate donated by The Scott Fuller Team. A separate donation will also be made to Bollinger Canyon Elementary. Entries are due by May 30th, and winners will be announced at the community flag salute on June 4th. Depending on class and grade level, this writing contest may be mandatory or optional.

Full details of the contest will be sent home with your son or daughter. I hope your child will enjoy participating in this contest!
