Lately, a lot of people have been wanting to take advantage of the market, but the timing hasn't worked out. There is a huge opportunity for sellers out there to get top-dollar for their homes, but many sellers aren't quite ready to move, and would rather make the move at the end of May when the kids are out of school.

If you've been struggling with this dilemma, we have a solution for you.

We can work backwards to extend your closing. Say you put your property on the market today, and it takes about 30 days to sell. We can then, in addition to a normal 30-day close of escrow, add another 30-45 days through a rent-back. This will give you more time to find a new home and get everything else in order before you move. Often times we are able to negotiate the rent-back at no extra cost.

With this method, you can effectively put your home on the market at the beginning of March, but you won't have to move out until May.

If you want top market value for your home, now is the time. If you wait to list until April and May, there will be a huge flood of buyers, and not as many opportunities for sellers as there are right now.
